What Is Clip Training?

Clip Training is a library of 70 Microsoft 365 courses inside the Empath platform, from the publisher Clip Training. The courses are split into more than 1,900 short lessons, about 129 hours in all, on Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot, Teams and Windows 11.

It is the how-to training behind the questions your help desk hears every week, such as how to share a file in OneDrive or get a useful answer from Copilot. Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint each have three levels, Essentials, Power Users and Pro, from one publisher, in lessons of a few minutes. It suits clients whose staff mainly need Microsoft 365 and Copilot how-to training.

Give a client's staff the courses alongside the Copilot or Windows 11 rollout you run for them, and have your techs take them first so they know what clients will see.

Clip Training is a premium catalog you add where you need it. It is one part of the Empath course catalog.

What Subjects Does Clip Training Cover?

All 70 courses sit in five subjects. The words in parentheses are some of the topics in each, as of October 2026.

Outlook training runs to five courses, including one for staff who read mail on a phone. Windows 11 training goes past the four levels, with courses on accessibility and on what changed since Windows 10. To see every title, get the full course list.

Start with the first level of each app staff use every day, then add Basic Copilot Chat or Microsoft 365 Copilot, depending on whether they have a paid Copilot license. Ten of the 70 are below.

• Accessing and Navigating Teams, Clip Training. For new staff on their first day in Teams. 28 minutes, 15 lessons.
• Outlook 365 Essentials, Clip Training. The basics of Outlook. 196 minutes, 60+ lessons.
• Excel 365 Essentials, Clip Training. The first of three Excel levels. 152 minutes, 50+ lessons.
• SharePoint Online Essentials, Clip Training. The starting level for SharePoint Online. 182 minutes, 40+ lessons.
• OneDrive, Clip Training. Syncing and sharing work files. 99 minutes, 20+ lessons.
• Windows 11 Foundations, Clip Training. Getting around Windows 11, from signing in to the Start screen. 138 minutes, 20+ lessons.

The other 60+ include a 12-minute course on Microsoft's Copilot names, plus Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Bookings, Teams Calling and Windows 365 Cloud PC. The Empath Grow course list names all 70.
