What Is Inspired eLearning?

Inspired eLearning is a library of more than 100 courses inside the Empath platform, from the publisher Inspired eLearning. They cover security awareness, workplace conduct and data privacy, about 36 hours in all, and more than 70 of them run 15 minutes or less.

It covers the training clients ask their MSP about. Every employee needs to spot a phishing email or a fake invoice. A medical office asks for HIPAA training, and a business that takes cards asks for PCI DSS 4.0. HR wants harassment prevention and ethics courses it can give every new hire.

Empath delivers courses and runs no phishing simulations. If you send phishing tests to client staff with another tool, keep it and use these courses next to it. Does Empath run phishing simulations with Inspired eLearning?

No. Empath delivers the Inspired eLearning courses and runs no phishing simulations. The courses teach staff to spot phishing by email, text and phone, along with invoice fraud and deepfakes, and can help meet some training requirements. An MSP that sends phishing tests to client staff keeps that tool and uses these courses next to it.

Where can I find a phishing training course?

As of October 2026, Inspired eLearning in Empath has 9 courses on phishing, smishing and vishing, including a 2-minute course on a text-message scam and the 12-minute interactive Cyber Quest: Phishing. Cyber Quest: Phishing and Security Awareness Essentials are also in the Curated Collection, which every Learn seat includes. Add the catalog for your team in Empath Learn or for your clients in Empath Grow.

Can I add Inspired eLearning for my own team or only my clients?

Either one, or both. Add Inspired eLearning for your own team in Empath Learn or for your clients in Empath Grow. It is not part of the Learn seat. For Learn, ask your Empath contact, or book a demo if you are new to Empath. In Grow, add the catalog, then give it to each client that needs it, or assign single courses to a client's staff.

Do Inspired eLearning courses have to be finished in one sitting?

Some do. Inspired eLearning courses are SCORM packages, so the publisher sets each course's navigation, progress and completion rules. Some must be finished in one sitting, or progress may not be saved. Assign the course to the learner first: an unassigned course can be watched, but nothing tracks it.
