Empath Professional Services provides LMS implementation services: a one-time, fixed-scope build of your MSP's training system inside Empath Learn. It is for Empath Learn partners who want to build the system with Empath, beyond setting up the platform.

This paid add-on has a fixed, one-time fee. Empath and implementation consultants we choose deliver the work remotely. You bring your roles, training materials and managers; together, we turn them into a system your team can run.

Partner Success Onboarding

On your onboarding call, Partner Success covers adding users, setting roles and permissions and creating groups for learning and reporting.

You can then copy ready-made pathway templates into your Empath tenant and replace placeholder lessons with your SOPs, videos and tool-specific steps. Templates include Tier 1 Technician, Account Manager, Project Delivery Basics, Cybersecurity Fundamentals and New Hire Onboarding.

You run the build. The chat inside Empath, help articles, follow-up calls and the recurring Herd Meetup are there when you need help.

Professional Services

Empath builds the selected scope with you: a readiness baseline, role profiles, a KPI worksheet and daily checklists. The work also includes year-one pathways in your Empath tenant, a 24-month learning plan per covered role, manager classes and a supervised beta launch. Your managers set the live KPI targets. After handoff, your team owns and runs the system.

How Does an Engagement Run?

Intake and Configuration Empath gathers your department and role scope, source materials, access and licenses. The work starts with a kickoff.
Foundation The team prepares role profiles, the KPI worksheet, job postings where needed, pathway schedules and the Readiness Baseline Report for your review.
Build and Customization Empath builds modular pathways in your tenant, develops content within the package's customization hours and runs manager classes and leadership huddles.
Beta Launch and Handoff A small cohort uses the build under supervision. The team makes in-scope revisions, runs the final manager class and hands over the learning plans and system.

Is Onboarding Included Without Professional Services?

Yes. Partner Success onboarding is included with every Empath subscription. The onboarding call covers adding users, roles, permissions and groups for tracking learning and reporting. Empath also provides pathway templates you can fill with your SOPs. After the call, you run the build yourself, with help articles, in-product chat, follow-up calls and the recurring Herd Meetup available.

Can Empath Move Us From Another LMS?

Yes. Empath's business development and Partner Success teams help you choose a migration path: work through it with you or plan for your team to do it. Courses, SOPs and training files can come over, and SCORM uploads can be turned on. Completion history stays in your old system. Bulk data migration is outside the Professional Services packages.

Who Can Buy Professional Services?

Empath Learn partners can buy Professional Services. The work is scoped to selected departments and roles in the partner's Empath tenant. Silver covers one department and one role; Gold covers up to two departments and three roles. If those boundaries do not fit your team, Empath can discuss a custom scope with you.

What Is Not Included?

The Professional Services packages do not include ongoing retainers, onsite work or travel, data migration or bulk administrative uploads. They also exclude custom software or integrations, emergency remediation, legal, tax or accounting advice, support for your clients' users and work outside the chosen departments and roles. Empath and your team agree on the selected scope before the build.

How Long Does It Take?

Most Professional Services engagements run about 90 to 120 days from kickoff, depending on your team's availability. The remote work moves through intake and configuration, foundation, build and customization, then a supervised beta launch and handoff. Your team reviews the foundation and takes over the training system after handoff. The final manager class uses the beta cohort's real data before handoff.

Professional Services is a paid add-on with a fixed, one-time fee for each package. Silver and Gold differ by the departments, roles and customization hours they cover; Custom is scoped with you.
