We Believe MSPs Deserve Better Tools to Build Better Teams.

Empath was created by MSP experts who understand the struggles of onboarding, training, and scaling. We’re here to simplify growth by focusing on what matters most—your people.

Our Purpose

We’re Here to Fix What’s Broken in MSP Training.

Inconsistent onboarding. Shadow training that leaves gaps. Teams that feel disconnected. We’ve been there, and we knew there had to be a better way. Empath was built to make MSP training scalable, clear, and effective—so teams can grow stronger together.

Broken Rocket Ship

Mission

Empowering MSPs to build accountable, high-performing teams, without the chaos.

Our Story

We Started As MSPs, Too.

Empath was born out of frustration. We saw MSP leaders struggle with onboarding, accountability, and team management—relying on outdated methods like shadow training or endless spreadsheets. We built Empath to simplify the process and give leaders the tools we wish we had back then.

"Empath wasn’t created in a boardroom, it was built out of real-world experience. We understand the chaos of running an MSP because we’ve lived it."

Cofounder Name

The People Behind Empath

Wes Spencer Wes Spencer
Co-Founder
Wes Spencer

Wes is a nationally recognized cybersecurity leader and multi-time founder who has spent his career helping MSPs make sense of an ever-shifting threat landscape. He’s served on advisory boards for groups like DHS and SentinelOne, but these days you’ll find him investing back into the community he loves through education, enablement, and building better leaders. Also known for his strong opinions, and dangerously strong love for bourbon and hot chicken.

Alex Farling Alex Farling
Co-Founder
Alex Farling

Alex spent 17 years running his own MSP before co-founding Lifecycle Insights (later acquired by ScalePad). Now he’s all-in on helping MSPs build the repeatable processes their sales, vCIO, and account management teams need to grow with confidence. He’s endlessly curious, relentlessly practical, and famously passionate about solving hard problems and building better mouse traps.

Kyle Christensen Kyle Christensen
Co-Founder
Kyle Christensen

Kyle is known as the Chief Accountability Officer for MSPs, specializing in building the systems and rhythms that help teams get unstuck and moving forward. As a former EOS implementer and co-founder of one of the largest MSP software consulting firms, he’s all about creating leadership clarity and driving real, measurable results. He’s also never shy about pulling out the Accountability Bat when someone needs a little nudge.

Dean Trempelas Dean Trempelas
Head of MSP Success
Dean Trempelas
Dean has spent more than 15 years in MSP service and operations, helping grow one MSP from 700k all the way to 55 million. These days he’s on the vendor side, which means he finally gets to say out loud what he’s always known… MSPs make terrible clients 🤣. If you’ve ever been yelled at on r/msp, Discord, or Slack about your ops habits, there’s a good chance it was him. He’s hired and trained hundreds of MSP employees and has made every operations mistake possible so you don’t have to.
Keith Craig Keith Craig
Head of Learning Design & Innovation
Keith Craig
Keith is an innovation-minded learning strategist who believes training should create real, measurable outcomes, not just check a box. With years of experience leading large-scale learning programs at companies like RingCentral and Panera Bread, he now drives Empath’s curriculum strategy and helps the MSP community turn knowledge into something repeatable, teachable, and actually useful. If you want to translate what’s in your head into something your whole team can understand, he’s your guy.
Chris Long Chris Long
Director of Engineering
Chris Long
Chris is a forward-thinking CTO with a long history of taking products from rough idea to successful launch. He’s obsessed with building scalable cloud infrastructure, leveraging machine learning, and creating an engineering culture that ships fast without breaking trust. His leadership is a big reason Empath runs on rock-solid, modern tech. If you see a badass feature in the platform, chances are Chris was somewhere nearby, running with scissors alongside his team.
