At Empath, we’ve built our entire mission on one simple truth: the fastest way to grow is to learn from people who’ve already solved the problems you’re facing.
It’s not just a product feature. It’s a principle we live by. From how we design our platform to how we make business decisions, we lean on the experience of people who’ve been there before.
It’s why we actively seek out conversations with leaders, operators, and innovators who can challenge our thinking and sharpen our execution.
We’re making that commitment official. We’re bringing on three industry heavy-hitters as our first Empath Advisors, voices we trust, respect, and can’t wait to learn from.
We're Taking Our Own Advice
If we’re telling MSPs to seek out expert guidance, we have to do the same. Anything less would be inauthentic.
So this move? It’s us holding ourselves to the same high standard. We're surrounding ourselves with people who will challenge our assumptions, sharpen our strategy, and push us to keep raising the bar.
I can’t tell you how many times I jump on the phone with a trusted friend or mentor and realize, “Wow, what a great idea. We should adopt that!” Or “Huh. That's a good challenge to my thinking. I want to think more on that.”
That’s what great advisors do. And every one of these folks have already been advising before we made it official, so to speak. I’m completely over the moon with our advisors. They are some of the best in the channel. And their input, ideas, and wisdom have been invaluable to us.
The Limits of "Been There, Done That"
Kyle, Alex and I have been in the MSP game for a long time. But I know one thing is true: as co-founders of a young vendor, it’s easy to get our heads stuck in the sand.
When I look at our advisors, they aren’t just outside perspectives. They’re people who have “been there, done that” in ways far more complex than what we’ve dealt with. And tapping into that wisdom is invaluable. We’re not at all hesitant to say “I don’t know, but I know who to ask”.
That’s what great advisors are for.

Introducing Our Brain Trust: The Empath Advisors
Now for the fun part.
We’re beyond excited to introduce the three leaders joining our new advisors council. Each one brings a different lens, hard-earned expertise, and a track record of building things that actually work for MSPs.
Chris Day, CEO of ScalePad
Chris has been one of the more impactful MSP innovators in the channel. I’d dare say nearly every MSP out there has used one (or more!) of his products. Chris understands MSPs intimately because he built the largest one ever in Canada. He knows how to build a product that MSPs need. And he’s got the humility and down-to-earth approach that amplifies everyone around him
We’re so excited to have Chris as an advisor as someone we can lean on, learn from, and ultimately tell us where we should focus. In short, I want to be Chris Day when I grow up.
Adam Slutskin, Chief Revenue & Strategy Offcier at CyberFOX
Adam is been a friend of mine for such a long time. If you know anything about Adam, he’s a wide open book. He’s a mentor, a coach, and full of wise council when it comes to how to build a revenue team, how to understand what an accountable sales process should look like, and why MSPs buy. I’ve worked for Adam at CyberFOX and I can tell you the quality of team he’s built. It’s second-to-none. If Empath can build even a portion of the quality team of CyberFOX... watch out!
I can’t tell you how important Adam is to us as a mentor, coach and true friend.
Andrew Kaiser, VP of Sales at Huntress
I hope I can say this: Andrew is like the Wizard of Oz behind the scenes at Huntress. No one can debate the wild success of Huntress and their stellar growth. And I’ve known Andrew for years. He’s that quiet, humble but incredibly effective leader that is instrumental in Huntress’ success.
And you know what else? Andrew is an open book. We’ve had a whole bunch of calls with Andrew where he’s shared ideas, tweaks, and challenges to our growth process. And every single time we come out of that meeting and say “Wow, that hits home. We need to take that and run with it.” So thank you Andrew. We wouldn’t be where we’re at today without you. And I’m confident having you as an advisor is a true game changer to our growth.
And we’re not done yet… More industry legends will be joining this council soon. Stay tuned.
