YouTube Playlists to Supplement Empath Content

Scope

Empath provides MSP-focused training around process, behavior, and role-based skills. We are not a deep-technical content publisher like ACI or CBT Nuggets.
MSPs should build their own stack-specific technical training for long-term success, but that takes time. As a middle ground, Empath allows importing external YouTube playlists to supplement gaps.

Audience

• Content Admins in Empath creating or curating training content.

• MSP leaders and service managers seeking done-for-you technical training while internal resources are developed.

Requirements

1. Content Admin role in Empath.

2. Follow this KB: How to Import a YouTube Playlist to Create a Course in Empath.

3. Playlist videos must be embeddable. If the creator removes videos or disables embedding, the lessons will break.

4. After import, create a cover graphic so the course matches your Empath library.

5. Treat imported playlists as supplemental; replace them with internal or curated MSP-specific content over time.

• Speeds up onboarding with ready-to-use technical training.

• Provides structure and accountability by keeping training inside Empath, not just on YouTube.

• Bridges the gap while your MSP develops custom stack-aligned training.

• Allows the MSP to add quizzes and track progress on video content that normally does not provide centralized accountability.
