How to Clear Your Empath Cookies and Local Cache After the December 2025 / January 2026 Backend Migration
Summary
After Empath’s backend database migration in December 2025 and January 2026, some users may continue to see outdated course catalog or filtering behavior due to cached local data stored in their browser. To ensure the updated catalog system loads correctly, you may need to manually clear Empath-specific cookies and stored site data on your browser. This article provides one-time instructions for Chrome and Edge, our two recommended browsers. Clearing only Empath’s stored data preserves your other browsing information while rebuilding a clean local cache when you next log in.
