Test, edit or delete a webhook

Learn how to manage a webhook after it's been created.

Steps

Send a test 1. Go to Admin → Notification Settings → Webhooks (advanced). 2. On the webhook's row, click Test Webhook. Empath sends a sample message to your address.

Edit a webhook 1. On the webhook's row, click Edit Webhook. 2. Change the name, URL, events, payload format or personal-data option. 3. Save.

Delete a webhook 1. On the webhook's row, click Delete and confirm. 2. Empath stops sending to that address straight away.

Good to know

• Tests aren't counted in the webhook's Delivered and Failed numbers.
• There's no pause button. To stop a webhook for a while, remove its events or delete it and create it again later.
• A deleted webhook can't be restored. A new webhook gets a new signing secret.
